Here is another corner of the new sewing room. The walls are filling up, I sure do have a lot of stuff.
This is the first time I have had room to display my toy sewing machine collection.
I have to take a break from tweeking this room to go upstairs and paint two other bedrooms. But I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Very fun! I love all the little displays you have, I would get inspired working there! Hugs, Diane

It's looking so good! Reminds me of when I first put mine together and also makes me want to go clean it!! :-)

One thing about swapping out a room like you are - you can really take some time and put things where you want them and re-examine all those treasures that have been tucked away. Looks awesome - happy, cheery and just the place to work some crafting/sewing magic!

Looks so good. From the mix of colors to the shabby frames and shelves. It is really beautiful. Enjoy it....Renee

It's looking so light and cheerful. I love those little chairs...one day I hope I find one. Not long ago we were cleaning out my husband's uncle's estate & I found an old Wilton catalog which listed those little chairs for birthday cake decorations! Now I know where they originated. :)

I love your collection of little sewing machines. A woman after my own heart. I have a little sewing machine collection (obsession)
too. I have 43 in my collection. It's my favorite collection. The colors and cuteness.
I love your blog even more now. :)
Blessings,
Shelley

I love your new sewing room ~ what a great idea to repurpose your shelves as the base for your cutting table! The room is so lovely and inspiring!

Your collection of sewing machines is so adorable, but my favorite thing so far is the thread tiered tray you showed in a previous post. You have made this room so fun and inspiring that I bet you wish you didn't have the other rooms to paint so you could get creative and sew!

I really love the vibrant colors! Definitely a room I'd like to go to often.. the vibrancy is definitely very appealing. It almost looks a tad fantastical ;)

Oh I LOVE those! The small sewing machines in a sewing room is just perfect! I have a small singer that was my mother's, she used it as a young girl to make doll's clothes and recently gave it to me. I have it on one of my work surfaces at the moment.
You did a great job, and you have some really cute items!
Thanks for sharing!
