It was a quick trip, up to the DC area yesterday, craft fair today and now I am back home in Hampton. Tired and ready for a rest.
Beth and I had a great booth space this year at the craft fair.

My "to do" list today is as long as my arm. I've got so much to do today because tomorrow AM I am heading up the road to visit my BFF Beth and Saturday we are heading to the BIG FLEA!!
After that we are going to stop in Fairfax, VA and drop in on George Mason University and littlepeach#1 in her freshman dorm. It's my first visit since she moved up a few weeks ago. On today's list is making a pair of curtains for the dorm room.
I will be packing a small bag of clothes to take and because I am such a jewelry whore I will also be packing up my little jewelry travel tote. Just like this one that I made out of the Summer Soiree fabrics.

Also on the list of things to do today is to start organizing my christmas crafts. I have been scavenging all year to find cool vintage christmas stuff to use in my creations.
I have a huge collection of vintage christmas fabrics. I really love these old kitschy designs.
I've decided to condense my collection and I am letting all of these go so these fabrics are available in my LittlePeachez etsy shop. Gotta run, so much to do today.

My latest love affair is with vintage upholstery fabrics. Especially fabrics by the Kroehler Manufacturing Co.
During the 1940's Kroehler was the second largest furniture manufacturer in the country. Kroehler ads from the mid-century are easily found in magazines of the era.
I have two chairs in my collection by Kroehler.
I am just crazy over these "poodle chenille" fabrics that were produced by Kroehler.
I found a large piece at SuzAnna's this past weekend and I am quite inspired to create some purses.
I played around with some vintage metal zippers and old buttons for embellishment to the pocket.
Maybe I do need some new shoes now? hmmmmm....
