Are You Having Trouble with Typepad Too? Try This.

I discovered today that apparently Typepad has been screwing around with the editor software and now anyone trying to blog can't upload pictures.  Not any pictures.

Are you kidding me?  How do you make that kinda screw up? 

Typepad, pu-lease get your shit together!!

So I thought I would do a test post and to see if I could get a picture included. 

I NEVER create blog posts using the Typepad editor.  Instead I use Windows Live Writer.  I've been doing this for going on 2 years now and I prefer it.

So I am creating this post with a picture on Live Writer to see if it loads into Typepad.

I highly recommend Live Writer.  Try it out, I think you will like it.

Not a Happy Camper

Snow is a rare occurrence in my neck of the woods. 

When it does snow, It isn't much and it's usually gone a few hours later.

I am less than pleased with the way my garden is looking today.

I guess the upside is this stuff does eventually melt.  eventually.

I'll Start at the Top

I'm a first timer so Welcome to everyone that is popping over to my little corner of Virginia here today. 

It's still flippin' freezing outside. omg. cold.

I'll go up to the third floor and then walk on down.

Third floor has my sewing studio and aprons in progress. 

You knew it was going to be aprons.

Second floor has the office.  Ground zero for blogging and the patient terrier waiting for her walk.  She's got her coat on and ready to pounce the second I get up from this desk chair.

She's trying to fake me out with that nap, but she's watching me.

Down to the first floor. 

Collections under glass.  (Cuts back on the dusting).

Sunshine is streaming in, but that's just a tease.  It's really below freezing outside.

Hasn't stopped that crazy Aloe plant from blooming.

We are all just patiently waiting for spring.  That's my mantra.  Spring....Spring.....Spring.

Beauty in the Words of a 12 year old

I found this draft on my desk.  Littlepeach#2 had left it there after using my printer to produce a final paper for school.

The end product did not have the cute little doodles so I am keeping the draft.  I think it is just so sweet, I had to brag share.

Now What?

Back in Hampton and settled in again after a little vacation to Montreal.  How lovely to come home to my little corner of Virginia.

I'm lucky to come home to this.  MrPeachez and I took a stroll to gather shells for the garden path early this morning.

I've got a busy week planned.  Wednesday is the official opening of a second etsy shop, littlepeachez.  I've got so much vintage fabric, trims, buttons and sewing notions so I've decided to share.

Beth is opening a second shop too, Dime Store Chic.  You know she will have some good stuff. 

The Cup is Half Full

That's the way I like to see it.  Lemonade out of lemons and all that.  Upbeat and positive, that's the ticket.

Niki and Jane are posting about reason's and things that are cheerful and I like that. 

So I'm looking around me this morning and I see lots of fun and cheerful scenes.
